I am: twenty-one years old. british, from sussex, studying third year english and history at keele university in the midlands. 'specially interested in creative writing and women's history. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but at the moment in involves moving to manchester and having lots of fun. I have a love/hate relationship with writing and tennis and wouldn't say no to a good cup of tea.

I would unquestionably rescue Ani DiFranco, The Decemberists and The Boy Least Likely To from a burning building. I love films and television about social misfits, which is why I love Peep Show, Black Books, Withnail & I and Teachers. When I read, it's usually postmodernish books about how society or an individual's situation is pretty shit. Dystopias are good, so to speak. I'm also partial to cameras, white t-shirts, wordsearches, tortoises and cheese!

I can usually be found lurking at the usual social-networking haunts;
facebook, twitter, goodreads and myspace. I also have a blog and 100things list that I attempt to update when I can. There's another thing I don't really know what to do with, called duckandpancakes. I'm also trying out an idea I had based on a favourite photo pose my friends and I like to do, called dotheraptor. Now you all can do it too!
